The Supervisory Board of WSK ‘PZL-KALISZ’ S.A. adjudicated the competitive application procedure for the position of the President of the Management Board on 20th October 2021. Mr. Jacek Jankowski has been appointed the President of the Management Board and will officially undertake the duties on 2nd November of this year
Jacek Jankowski completed engineering studies at General Kościuszko Military University in Wrocław and master’s degree at Higher School of Humanities, specialization: defence administration. From 2021 he has been the Chairman of Management Board of Wojskowe Zakłady Kartograficzne sp.z o.o (Military Cartographic Establisment). From 2017 to 2021 Jacek Jankowski had been the Chairman of Technology Security Centre Ltd. Management Board. From 2016 to 2017 he had worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Head of Department responsible for planning, creating and implementing security procedures, as well as reaction to crisis situations in Polish diplomatic representations. From 2005 to 2016 he had been involved in the works of a central institution responsible for combating terrorism on an international scale and for security of Polish diplomatic offices. From 2003 to 2005 he acted as an Assistant in Didactic Activity referred to crisis management and territorial defence at National Defence University. From 1995 to 2003 he had worked for Military Academy of Technology as a Commander of Detachment and Battalion Commander Deputy. Mr. Jacek Jankowski has been honoured with a Silver Cross of Merit.
